GlideSoul's Styling Tips

HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE YOU HAD NOTHING TO WEAR ? 🤔 👗

CHECK OUR TIPS 💁‍♀️ HOW TO MIX, MATCH & STYLE  YOUR WATERWEAR IN A BEST WAY TO SOLVE YOUR WARDROBE DRAMA

❤️❤️❤️

Many of the world's most successful people claim that wearing the same clothes every single day removes the stress and energy of getting dressed, giving them more brain space to make other decisions that have a bigger impact.

However, at GlideSoul we believe that getting dressed for the water is the ideal way to prepare for your session ahead. Plus it goes without saying that when you look good, you feel even better. So we've created a simple Mix and Match guide for you to ensure that you can get the most out of your products, without the stress.

Tip #1 Choose a colour theme

It's easy to mix and match when your water wardrobe has a consistent theme. This is where our Essential and Flashback 74 collections really start to sparkle! With their monochrome designs, these collections can combine to create some super stylish water outfits. Look at these pieces as a timeless investment. For a pop of colour add a Vibrant Stripes High Neck Front Zip Crop under your vest!

Our entire Bloom collection, with its base of cyan, pink and purple can be worn together or as separate pieces. The Reversible Comp Vest looks great layered over the Long Sleeve Zip Front Spring Suit, Full Suit or with a pair of our Neoprene Board Shorts.

Tip #2 Buy smart

The key to building a really versatile wardrobe is purchasing pieces that combine well, but all offer something different. You want your wardrobe to be suitable for all weather conditions and all activities. Make sure you have a good mix of sleeve lengths, leg lengths, and swimwear cuts. Stick to the rule above and you won't have any problems combining them.

We recommend...full suit, long sleeve spring suit, short sleeve spring suit, vest, one piece, bikini top, bikini bottom, shorts = everything you'll need for all four seasons on the water.

Tip #3 Layer up

The real secret to mix and matching - layers!

Think about what your session has in store for you - will you need long layers for the car journey, a bikini underneath your vest for the post-session swim? Layer your outfit according to your plans, minimising awkward changing sessions in the car park. Follow the two tips above to make sure your layers are consistent in theme and you always have the right piece for whatever the day brings.

Tip #4 Try something new

It can be daunting trying a new style or a new cut, sometimes we let our insecurities get in the way of expressing ourselves. Want to try a High Neck Front Zip One Piece but aren't sure how? Follow Tip 1 and 2 to decide which style is the best for you, make your purchase and then layer it with a few of your favourite pieces that you feel comfortable in. This way you can have the best of both worlds!
