Smiley, stylish and always positive, Natascha is our biggest inspiration in the water sport world. She is keen to share her stories and tips for getting started.

Q: Tell us a bit about yourself:
A: My name is Natascha Rottcher. Born and raised in Namibia (Africa).
Professional water-skier (learned to ski in Namibia, and received all my coaching in Florida).
Skiing since 2008. Before I got introduced to skiing, I was swimming professionally.
Representing my country, Namibia.
I live in Florida since 2014.
Moved to Florida to study Business and ski.
Ski event: Slalom skiing
Traveling the world yearly for pro events.
Q. What are your favourite GlideSoul products for waterskiing?
A: My three favorite GlideSoul Products that I use for waterskiing are:
Life vest.
As a water-skier, I’ve tried all kinds of life vests, and I can hands down say that the GlideSoul vest is the most comfortable vest. The length is perfect, front and back, it fits snug and does not stretch too much over time.
Spring suit.
Perfect thickness for chilly water conditions. Sizing is perfect, and it fits comfortable, soft material.
Bikini Bottom
Perfect cut to ski in. Does not ride up and sits very comfortable. The colors don’t fade.
Q. What are your recommendations for girls who have never tried waterskiing before?
A: When trying to get out of the water:
Once you’re up, always stay soft in your knees, putting pressure on your toes. People tend to get up too fast, loose control, and fall over.
Q: What are your two favourite spots to start Waterskiing?
A: Swiss Waterski Resort. Located in Clermont, Florida
